In the Thai tradition, the release of sky lanterns is said to be symbolic of releasing negativity and worries. It is considered good luck and a sign of renewal.

At Sky Glow, we find that the intention and emotion behind each participant's lantern is an intimate decision. Each lantern's meaning is unique and equally important, which is why we include a marker so each participant can make their lantern their own.

What's this event about?

The founder of our event was first inspired by the traditional lantern festival in Chiang Mai when he was living in Thailand, and he wanted to bring this community-driven experience to the United States.

Alongside local lantern launches, we support local businesses by hiring small food trucks and entertainers, and we feature musical talent because nothing brings people together like a show!

🔔 Remember: Tickets will be sent 72 hours before the festival and you will need to show it, either printed or on your mobile, to gain access. This is mandatory by company policy and to avoid resale.

DO I NEED A TICKET FOR THE PARTY?

If you need a ticket for the party that includes the show, open bar and parking.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

While we truly appreciate our guests’ love for their furry friends, we kindly ask that pets be left at home for their own safety and comfort. Lantern festivals can involve large crowds, loud noises, and open flames, which may not be suitable environments for animals. Of course, certified service animals are welcome in accordance with local regulations.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WEATHER CONDITIONS DO NOT ALLOW TO MAKE IT?

In the event that weather conditions do not permit the festival to proceed as scheduled, the safety of our guests and staff remains our highest priority. Should we need to cancel or postpone the event due to inclement weather, we will notify all ticket holders as soon as possible via email and our official website. In such cases, we will offer either a rescheduled date or a full refund, depending on the circumstances.

We are committed to hosting an environmentally responsible event. All of our lanterns are made from biodegradable materials and are designed to be safely recovered after the release. Our dedicated cleanup team ensures that all lanterns are collected and disposed of in an eco-friendly manner, leaving the environment as beautiful as we found it.
